Our journey
Established in June 2024, Aspire Basketball was created with the intention of making basketball fun and accessible for all, offering players the opportunity to grow their skills at any level. In just one year, our basketball coaching business has grown from coaching just 3 children to inspiring and training over 150 young athletes every week. This rapid expansion reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a love for the game within the community. Our dedication was recognized in 2024 when we won Active Suffolk’s prestigious ‘Innovative Project of the Year’ award, followed by being named runner-up for Basketball England’s ‘Community Club of the Year’ in 2025. We are proud to have established a thriving satellite club in Felixstowe and to field four competitive local league teams across age groups—U13s, U15s, U17s, and Men’s—creating opportunities for players at every stage of their development.
Our Aspiration
At Aspire Basketball, our 'Aspiration' is to make basketball accessible, fun, and rewarding for everyone in our community. We are passionate about creating an inclusive environment where players of all ages and skill levels can develop their love for the game. Our vision is to build a strong local league pathway that allows children to progress through the ranks, gaining experience and confidence as they work their way up to our competitive men’s team. Through dedication, teamwork, and support, we strive to help every player reach their full potential on and off the court.
